Photoshop Phun

This is a drawing I did, scanned in and traced in photoshop. Ive only just got to grips with photoshop and only just tried out the wacom I got for christmas, I love it! It makes using photoshop a breeze and actually enjoyable not a chore. I'm doing a photoshop photo-realism abc course at uni at the moment but didnt fancy doing this pic in that style which is why I painted it to look more vectorised, it was done on photoshop though.

I heart ink

I love using ink and my stylus; its messy and wonderful, this is done with black chinese ink mixed with asda's finest red food colouring- just because it was lying around when I wanted to draw.

Life Drawing (more detailed)

Drawings done from life models and statues when we visited the V&A last term, this year I'm focusing on getting faces right.

Life Drawing (quick stuff)

.
Quick sketches with our life models and guest model, I think the ones with the guest martial arts guy were 10-20 second long poses.

Painting

The top painting was done in a painting workshop in my fisrt year (its a lime and plum-though i really hope you could tell that)
The bottom two are from my design for layout unit where we had to paint Columbus's table in the cabin of his ship, I liked how my finished table came out but scanned it in badly so im just showing the best sections.

Doodles

A doodle that turned into something I really liked, it's quite old now though I'd like to hope I've gotten better since then, though theres definately still a tentacle motif to my doodles

Firstly some oldies

Illustrations from a story I made and illustrated last year, it was quite long but was written and drawn in a book small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, the drawings were done with black biro, ink or pencil colour. I would show more but some of my favourite images in the book got a little damaged by ink soaking through to other pages.
